These Terms of Service govern your use of Access Rescue (the “service”), operated by Access Rescue (“we”, “us”, “our”).

1. Acceptance

By using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

Access Rescue provides browser-local inspection, recovery, and reporting for Microsoft Access files (.mdb and .accdb). The service is provided “as is” and “as available.”

3. No upload of your data

Your database is processed on your own device, in your browser. We do not receive or store its contents. You are responsible for keeping your own backups.

4. Payments

Paid features are billed through Stripe, our payment processor. Prices are shown at checkout. Purchases are one-time unless stated otherwise. Because the service runs locally on your device, you are responsible for ensuring the file you submit is one you are authorized to use.

Refunds are handled under our Disclaimer & Refund Policy.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use the service for unlawful purposes or to process data you are not authorized to handle. You are responsible for having the right to use any file you submit.

6. Disclaimers

Recovery is best-effort and not guaranteed. Before you pay, we report the row count each table declares and the rows we could actually read back, but we do not guarantee that any specific file, table, or row can be recovered.

Reports (including the Migration Readiness Report) are generated automatically from the file’s structure and metadata. They are provided for your own decision-making and are not professional, legal, or migration consulting.

7. Termination

We may suspend access for abuse or non-payment. You may stop using the service at any time.

8. Governing law
